Stainless steel knitted wire mesh for demister pad has a wide range of applications, most notably as the gas-liquid separator, also known as the mist. It is a special form of woven wire mesh that is a major component of the production of screen, amongst others. Other than the demister, it can be used for oil-gas separator, dust, environmental protection, engine silencers and mechanical damping.
The stainless steel wire used is AISI201, 202, 301, 302, 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316 L, plus other materials such as galvanized wire, redrawing wire, brass wire, copper wire, titanium wire, alloy wire, nickel wire, nylon wire, PE wire and fiberglass wire. The diameter of the wire size can range from 0.10 to 0.55mm ranging from flat wire to round wire, with the most common being from 0.20mm to 0.25mm.
The hole size can come in various sizes such as 4mm×3mm, 5mm×6mm, 2mmx4mm, or 4mmx5mm. The width of the knitted wire mesh can range from 40mm, 80mm, 100mm, 150mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm, 500 mm, all the way to 600mm.
